At South Beach Place, we love getting to know our guests—many of whom return year after year. We recently spoke with a couple who have stayed with us four times over the past three years. What started as a visit to explore Florida real estate turned into something much more: finding a place they love coming back to again and again.
Looking for Something Familiar and Finding It
“We normally vacation in places like this, but in New Jersey,” they told us. “So when we came down to Florida, we were looking for something with that same vibe—a pool, close to the beach, and in a residential area, not surrounded by high-rises. South Beach Place looked like it had everything we wanted.”
They were originally visiting Florida to explore the idea of buying a condo on the mainland—but once they discovered South Beach Place, those plans quickly changed. “After staying here, we realized we liked it better than the idea of owning a place elsewhere. We decided we’d rather just come back here.”
Dog-Friendly and Welcoming
A key factor in their decision? “South Beach Place allows dogs—and we have a golden retriever. That’s really important to us when we travel.” They felt right at home from the start, thanks to the welcoming atmosphere and thoughtful amenities.
Staying Longer, Making Friends
At first, like many guests during high season, they had to hop from room to room to extend their stay. “It was tough to get more than a week at a time, but we didn’t care—we loved the place so much.” Over time, they secured longer bookings and now enjoy staying in one room for an entire month.
“The atmosphere is just amazing. We’ve made friends here who we still keep in touch with. People from all over the country—we text them, they text us. Now, every time we come, it feels like a little family reunion.”
The South Beach Place Lifestyle
What sets South Beach Place apart for them is how it blends convenience with charm. “We love the residential nature of the area. We can take one of your vintage bikes to ride to the grocery store or a restaurant. We don’t really need to leave the island unless we’re doing something big.”
Even on rainy days, the location is perfect. “If we want to go to a movie or do a little shopping, it’s just a short drive. But honestly, we’re happiest just staying here.”
The One Wish
They did share one small wish: “The only thing that would make it better is if there were a two-bedroom option. When my mom visits—she’s 90—it gets a little tight. But we all make it work because we love it so much.”
