The Beauty of March on Florida’s Treasure Coast

March marks the transition from winter to spring, bringing perfect beach weather and bright sunny days. Many of our guests arrive this time of year looking to escape colder climates and embrace the peaceful coastal lifestyle that Vero Beach is known for.
Mornings begin with a short stroll to the beach to watch the sunrise over the Atlantic. Afternoons are often spent lounging by the heated pool, biking along Ocean Drive, or enjoying a quiet moment in the garden surrounded by palm trees and sea grapes.
Evenings at South Beach Place have their own magic—guests gather around the pool deck, grill at the outdoor BBQ area, or share stories after a day of exploring the town.
On Friday, March 6, 2026, South Beach Place hosted a wonderful afternoon event called “Arts in the Garden.” From 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, our tropical garden transformed into a small outdoor gallery where art, nature, and community came together.
Guests and visitors enjoyed strolling through the garden while meeting two talented artists whose work added color and creativity to the afternoon.
Sandra Hall presented her beautiful handcrafted jewelry, each piece reflecting elegance and unique artistic expression. Nearby, Kathleen Black displayed her impressive quilting works, showcasing detailed patterns and vibrant fabrics that captured the spirit of handmade artistry.
The atmosphere was relaxed and joyful. Guests wandered through the garden paths, admired the artwork, chatted with the artists, and enjoyed the peaceful setting. It was the kind of afternoon that perfectly reflects the spirit of South Beach Place—simple, welcoming, and filled with meaningful connections.
Events like these are a reminder that our hotel is more than a place to stay. It is a place where people meet, creativity is celebrated, and memorable experiences happen naturally.
